Data Retention

How long VideoToPDF keeps uploaded media, generated exports, and related project data.

Last updated: 2026-07-28

Retention Periods

VideoToPDF automatically removes uploaded media and generated exports after their retention period. The default retention period is 3 days for source media and 7 days for generated exports. The current retention period for your account or plan may differ where it is shown in the product.

Automatic Deletion

When a file or export reaches its retention deadline, we remove the stored object and mark the associated item as unavailable. You should download exports or keep an independent copy before the listed deadline if you need continued access.

Delete Earlier

You can delete a project or generated document from your workspace before its automatic deletion date. This removes access to the item from your account. Some limited records may remain where needed for security, billing, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or dispute resolution.

Changes to Retention

We may change retention settings as the service develops. If we make a material change to how we retain customer content, we will update this page and the relevant product information.
